Nicole Álvarez Barreno

With an outstanding career in the legal field, Nicole specializes in key areas of law, providing comprehensive counsel to national and international companies. Her expertise focuses on corporate law, commercial law, government procurement, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial law. She has demonstrated her ability to tackle complex issues and deliver effective solutions for her clients.

Nicole holds a law degree from the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil and a Master’s in Commercial and Corporate Law (LLM) from the University of Sheffield, UK. Additionally, she has completed a specialization in mediation from Universidad Espíritu Santo (UEES). Her knowledge and experience in dispute resolution, national and international arbitration, judicial proceedings, enforcement of judgments, mediation, and arbitration awards make her a highly qualified professional capable of effectively and successfully representing her clients' interests.

She currently serves as Vice President of the Corporate Law Roundtable at the Young Foundation Attorneys YEA, the Ecuador Chapter of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and is part of the Customs Law, Foreign Trade, and Investment Committee of the same organization.
