Monserrat Barreno Bravo
Founding partner of IURISRED Legal Expertise. Her practice focuses on the representation of clients in cases against government entities. With more than 25 years of experience, she has successfully worked with clients on commercial arbitrations, mediations, and litigation. She has extensive knowledge and practice in corporate, maritime, environmental, and healthcare regulatory law.
She holds a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador and is an Attorney of the Courts of Ecuador, licensed in 1995. She obtained her Master’s degree in Administrative Law from the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil in 2017. Additionally, she holds a certification in Theory and Tools of Negotiation from Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts (1997) and completed a Legal Project Management program at Austral University in Buenos Aires in 2020.
She is a member of the Guayaquil Bar Association, the Ecuadorian-American Chamber of Commerce of Guayaquil, AMCHAM, the Guayaquil Chamber of Commerce, and serves as Vice President for South America at the European Association of Lawyers (AEA).
