Álvaro Ramirez Durini

Álvaro has an outstanding track record in the legal field, covering both public and private sectors. His expertise includes Public Contracting, Innovation and Sustainability, and the implementation of Public-Private Partnership projects. Additionally, he has specialized in Alternative Dispute Resolution, Anti-corruption, Human Rights, and Peacebuilding.

He graduated from the Central University of Ecuador with a Law degree in Public and Social Sciences, later earning a Doctorate in Law. He also holds a Master’s degree in Administrative Law with a specialization in Public Contracting from the Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo. Additionally, he has completed diplomas in Anticorruption, Innovation, and Public Policy and is certified in Quality Management Systems (ISO 37001).

Álvaro has held positions in the National Public Procurement Service, the National Secretariat for Management Transparency, the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion, and the National Social Security Institute of Ecuador. Internationally, he has collaborated with the NGO Novact Peacebuiding and has served as a consultant for the United Nations.

Currently, he leads the Public Contracting and Public-Private Partnerships Department at IURISRED, focusing on innovation and sustainability.
